Canon USA & Affiliates Solutions Sales Consultant for MPS in Melville, New York

Overview

As a Solutions Sales Consultant, you will lead the development of global accounts business opportunities and projects in addition to support of internal best practice in the Managed Print arena.Your role is key in supporting our customers, as well as gaining new business, working with lead sales channels and/or regions to coordinate the overall business strategy and process for all assigned accounts. You will be involved during the entire sales cycle.....assessing the customer's environment, designing the workflow, installation and post-sales support. You will learn the capability of our services, help desk, reporting and printing, and must be able to provide support to all our global customers.

Responsibilities

  • Global service lead for pre-sales projects and client engagements as a SPOC

  • To understand and document global client services requirements and analyze in line with Canon’s services portfolio

  • Design the services architecture according to the Canon Service Portfolio and customize where required for a best fit services solution into the customer environment

  • Design and document all content such as workflows and Service Levels in cooperation with the appropriate Canon and client departments

  • Responsibility for documenting costs according to guidelines and charges to deliver market value to the client and maximum value to Canon

  • Responsibility to support and enable a smooth handover of design to service transition and operations teams

  • Benchmark service cost and pricing for each Americas countries through IT data retrieve system and improve the data integrity with IT and Service team in each Americas NSOs and dealers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required, or relevant work experience.

  • Expert knowledge of Managed Print Services.

  • A strong techncial understanding is required.

  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Detailed Knowledge about device management tools and user management tools.
