The Account Executive role is a key member of our team focused on selling into strategic partners within our dealer and independent reseller channels. This position demands a high energy individual with a proven track record in selling office technology and strong relationship building skills.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales person with extensive experience selling into or for channel partners with a deep understanding of solution selling and must have the following core capabilities:
This individual will develop and maintain account relationships with select dealer and reseller partners in a specific region/territory within the northeast.
This will include managing, planning and executing all sales activities, training events, and channel partner events with the main emphasis on growth and profitability.
Will identify new revenue opportunities for resellers/dealers utilizing offerings from Canon including hardware, software, and services.
Will work with a resellers/dealers at the end-user level, identifying industry specific trends, challenges and opportunities.
Will deliver and/or coordinate Canon resources to provide consistent and quality sales, service and training.
Will conducts quarterly business reviews with partner executives to review mutual revenue and strategic objectives.
With a Northeast U.S.A client base, this position allows for home based office within the territory.
Minimum 3+ years experience selling technology solutions, office equipment or managed print services.
Experience with direct channels and reseller channels is required.
Bachelor's degree is required; equivalent experience will be considered.
Strong relationship building skills along with excellent communication and persuasion skills.
- An intimate knowledge of cost-per-page offerings and understanding of various financing alternatives.
Must be able to identify needs of resellers and adapt training and communication as required.
- This position requires the ability to accommodate 75% overnight travel.
This position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job and must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
