Overview

The Canon Solutions America Business Development - Lead Generation Telesales Representative is responsible for making unsolicited, outgoing calls into accounts. They will use tele prospecting within multi-channel communications with target accounts and contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Make unsolicited, outbound calls into accounts.

  • Select targeted list to call on for specific product or services.

  • Spend the majority of time speaking with gatekeepers and intermediaries to build trust and creditability with the prospect or customer in order to win the right to engage.

  • Must be able to persist despite slow and uncertain progress.

  • Must demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of the targeted audience.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent required.

  • 3+ years of telemarketing experience.

  • Experience with software/ printing /equipment/ electronics sales preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to have a meaningful dialogue with Level C contacts.

  • Eagerness to network, social selling through organizations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

  • Must demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of the targeted audience.
