Canon USA & Affiliates Field Service Technician in Creve Coeur, Missouri

Overview

Our Field Service Technicians are responsible for servicing specific business system products including: black & white and color printers and copiers, facsimile equipment, document management solutions and related software. If you are looking to kick-start or further your electro-mechanical career, this may be the place for you!

Responsibilities

  • Within a designated territory, visit our customers to provide repairs to our products and related software.

  • Perform full evaluations of the history of equipment, current condition, and estimated time and parts necessary to complete repairs or maintenance.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues as well as provide preventative maintenance on all machines serviced.

  • Act as a valuable technical liaison to our customers and play a key role in their satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in an Electro-Mechanical, Engineering, or related area of study is a big plus; or High School / GED with equivalent electro-mechanical experience.

  • 0-5 years of related experience.

  • Electro-mechanical skills and aptitude.

  • Proven customer service experience.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and a valid driver’s license

*New technicians participate in Canon's 7 week comprehensive training program known as Printing & Digital Imaging Foundations (PDIF), learning the fundamentals of the electrical and mechanical systems that are integral to the office automation process, in addition to learning troubleshooting and customer service skills. On-going training and technical certification are conducted on a regular basis throughout your career as a technician.
