Overview

Compiles and maintains records with regard to the processing and payment of invoices. Requires some interaction with suppliers and employees. Works on assignments that are routine in nature.

Responsibilities

  • Enters invoices for payment in a timely manner and process checks for those invoices.

  • Maintains daily phone contact with suppliers/employees regarding payment status of invoices.

  • Researches and resolves open invoice issues.

  • Opens and distributes mail each day for processing.

  • Special projects, as required by management.

Qualifications

Typically requires general education and/or vocational training plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.

  • Experience in Accounts Payable in a high volume environment.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Prior Oracle experience a plus or similar accounting system.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.

  • Detail oriented with emphasis on quality.

  • Ability to multi-task, with attention to detail and accuracy.
